The town Genovés, upper part of Garachico, is situated in the North of Tenerife, at about 400 meters above sea level.
In the town there are a couple of little shops, supermarkets & bars. Driving to Icod de los Vinos takes about 10 minutes, Garachico center 20 minutes and to get to the well-known tourist area of Puerto de la Cruz takes about 30 minutes by car. The new road/tunnel connection to the south has improved driving distance to only 45 minutes.
